Fly Fishing for Northern Pike and/or Common Carp

This trip is not for the faint of heart! This trip is for those looking to expand their species of fish caught with a fly rod. Both Northern Pike and Common carp can be absolutely infuriating, but rest assured that you are in the best os hands with your guides at PRA!
Pike are labeled, "the fish of 1000 casts," meaning a lot of times you aren't due to get an eat from a pike until you have cast 1000 times. Time of the year can make this 1000 cast per fish ratio change in our favor quite a bit! Th best times of the year to target Norther Pike will be in the Spring, Fall, and Winter. Summer time is not a great time for Pike fishing although it is a FANTASTIC time for Carp fishing. We typiclly fish for carp with dry flies. Carp can be some of the pickiest fish when it comes to catching them with a fly rod but this is a very achievable thing and they fight like crazy!
